Practice Manager

As Dr. Kim’s Practice Manager, Sarah Anne Dordel is dedicated to ensuring that all of our patients have everything they need when considering, planning, or undergoing a cosmetic procedure with our practice. She looks forward to working with you so that your patient experience may be of the highest quality.

Sarah Anne comes to us with over 10 years of management experience, specializing in client services and education. She is a recent import from Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where she worked for two of the most prestigious plastic surgery and cosmetic dermatology practices on Park Avenue.

She has an excellent knowledge base of all phases of the aesthetic medical practice that ranges from office administration and management to clinical care. Most recently, Sarah Anne worked with a world renowned dermatologist in advising his patients on the most effective topical skincare products to use for anti-aging and sun damage repair.

In addition to being a caring and well-informed consultant for patients interested in cosmetic surgical procedures, Sarah Anne is also a licensed aesthetician with hands-on experience using chemical peels, laser treatments for hair removal and facial rejuvenation, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and medical facials.

She is an honors graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has worked in dynamic settings including the internet fashion industry and legal consulting services in addition to plastic surgery and dermatology. She continues her education and keeps up to date with the latest innovations in facial rejuvenation through her membership in the Society of Plastic Surgical Skincare Specialists and the Society of Dermatology Skincare Specialists.

Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Joy Chintanaroad, BSN, our aesthetic nurse specialist, is a highly experienced nurse who specializes in non-surgical treatments to restore and enhance natural beauty. She is an expert in aesthetic injections (botox, fillers) as well as in laser treatments. Joy has a vast experience in administering the most state-of-the-art treatments and providing successful results for all skin types. Whether you are concerned with fine lines, acne scars, or just wanting to rejuvenate your look Joy is the expert to help you. Her artistic abilities and attention to detail allow her to provide a natural appearance, optimal aesthetic results, and the highest level of care.

Joy is a San Francisco native and has been working in the aesthetic field for over six years. She initially began as a clinical aesthetican in a cosmetic surgery office where she provided a variety of medical grade chemical peels and microdermabrasion. Joy had such a passion for skin care and learning that she decided to advance her skills in the cosmetic industry by continuing her education in nursing. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco and continued working in the aesthetic field for a cosmetic surgeon and a high end medical spa in San Francisco.

Joy also serves as a important patient resource for information before and after surgery, ensuring that every patient is well taken care of. She understands the science behind skin care and will customize a treatment recommendation program and a home care regimen using Dr. Kim’s exclusive private skin care collection. Joy’s extensive experience, compassionate nature, and her passion for what she does makes her one of the most sought out aesthetic nurses.
